Our journey began 4–5 years ago in the heart of Bangladesh’s eyewear industry—Patuatuli, Old Dhaka. What started as a dedicated presence in the wholesale market has now evolved into a robust ecosystem comprising experienced wholesalers, retailers, optical laboratories, and a central warehouse.
While our roots remain in Patuatuli for crafting and sourcing authentic lenses, we recognized a shift in how people shop. Understanding the need for convenience, trendy designs, and precise eye-care solutions amidst a busy lifestyle, we planned our digital transformation in mid-2025. By 2026, Optico BD officially launched its online platform. Today, we operate primarily from our warehouses in Jatrabari and Shanir Akhra, bringing the wholesale expertise of Old Dhaka directly to your doorstep.
